Holy crap, what a terrible timing your announcement had! You should watch the news sometimes.
And also against this..."patch". I liked the fact that when I returned from my summer holidays, I would have a new toy to use. And I have returned, always, but now...? I seriously don't know. All I could probably think would be how much time I had wasted since my account wasn't training. Forget the skill queue, forget training on multiple characters at the same time, just keep ghost training for the greater good, and for the sake of your own wallets.
Another point of view; how is this fair for newer players? Old players have been ghost training for 5 years and they don't get to do it at all.

Originally by: Bonefish O'Hallahan What this was was a nice way for people to get perhaps an extra 15 days (at most!) of skill training and feel like, "man, I'm getting my money's worth here! I can't wait to come back to eve after my break!" Some of us have real lives, take real breaks, and aren't tremendous basement dwelling MMORPG *****s.
Exactly my thoughts. I never thought of it as customer service, but now that I think about it, it was (is?) one of the finest perks of this game.
I think the working adults are the ones most ****ed off by this change, since they don't have the luxury of infinite time to enjoy the game.

Originally by: EyeCeeYou The change has nothign to do with infinite time, its about whether or not you can train without paying to train.
The majority of ghost training is not done by typical-Joe players who hit hard times and say "well, I can knock out BS 5 while I'm gone." Most ghost training is done as 2d and 3rd and 4th accounts for the purpose of selling the high-SP account.
I guess I'm just looking this from my own perspective. You wouldn't believe how many times my account has expired when I wasn't looking. Good thing it kept training the skill I had on... ... ...

Um... Jumpgate Evolution ? It's not finished yet, mind you. I'd give them more time to smooth the edges.

Oh snap! I forgot that was coming in near future. Obviously I can't quit yet? I hope Hats rank 8 lvl 5 doesn't take too long to train...
